Welcome to Nookly. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Nookly mobile application ("App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to create a Nookly account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
You retain ownership of the content you create or upload in Nookly, including pantry entries, photos, chat messages, and imported recipe data ("Your Content"). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the App's features (for example, sending a photo to our AI provider to identify ingredients).
Nookly lets you import recipes from external websites, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok by URL. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to import and store this content for personal use. Imported content remains the property of its original creator/publisher, and Nookly does not claim ownership over it. Nookly's AI-assisted recipe extraction is provided for personal convenience and may occasionally produce incomplete or inaccurate results — recipes marked "low confidence" should be double-checked against the original source.
Nookly uses AI (Google Gemini) to identify ingredients from photos and to generate recipe suggestions. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for specific dietary needs or allergies. You are solely responsible for verifying ingredient safety, allergen information, and recipe accuracy before consuming any food prepared based on Nookly's suggestions. Nookly is not a substitute for professional nutritional or medical advice.

Nookly is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features in the future, we will update these Terms and notify users in advance.
You may stop using Nookly and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the App or other users.
Nookly is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to reliance on AI-generated recipe or ingredient information.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will indicate the date of the most recent update at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
